Minister of Cooperatives, Ferry Juliantono, said that when his party formed the Kurahan Merah Putih Village Cooperative (KDMP), he found that there were several things that had to be discussed with BP Taskin so that it would not only be an instrument to drive the economy of the people in villages and neighborhoods but also help solve the poverty problem in villages and neighborhoods.

According to him, the poverty-related database is needed by the Ministry of Social Affairs so that we can take the right steps when working in the field through the KDMP.
Meanwhile, Head of the Poverty Eradication Acceleration Agency (BP Taskin) Budiman Sudjatmiko said that there was no permanent poverty eradication without cooperatives.
"this is concrete for us, not a MoU omon-omon. We will immediately concretize it in the form of the Ministry of Cooperation building institutions for people's economic enterprises (cooperatives)," said Budiman.
He explained that through cooperation between the Ministry of Home Affairs and BP Taskin, Indonesia could accelerate poverty alleviation efforts in less than 5 years without burdening the State Budget (APBN).
Furthermore, Budiman said, because it did not benefit the state budget, the Ministry of Home Affairs and BP Taskin would maximize the funds of the people to the corporate social responsibility program or Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
"We will formulate it into actions in pilot projects in various regencies and cities so that the task of permanent poverty without burdening the state budget can be done," said Budiman.
