SKK Migas and PetroChina International Jabung Ltd (PCJL) Joint Work Contract (KKKS) officially started the 2026 drilling program in the Jabung Working Area (WK) through the first wellhead at NEB-85ST Well on Thursday, January 15, 2026.

Andhika explained that the NEB-85ST well was the first well from the PCJL Work Plan for development drilling activities in 6 wells in 2026.
In addition to drilling activities, in 2026 PCJL also has a commitment of 11 workover activities and 170 well services activities in WK Jabung.
"The principle of our drilling program is how to ensure Jabung's contribution to Indonesia. Throughout this year, PCJL will work hard to carry out the work program well, safely and responsibly," continued Andhika.
Furthermore, Andhika explained, in the last five years, PetroChina Jabung has consistently carried out the first tajak in January.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Drilling and Well Division of SKK Migas Surya Widyantoro reminded the importance of implementing a safe drilling program for workers in Jabung, both PCJL employees and drilling program contractors.
