JAKARTA - The Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs noted that as of January 5, 2026, the series of National Online Shopping Day (Harbolnas), Shopping in Indonesia Aja (Bina), and Epic Sale programs managed to record a transaction value of IDR 122.28 trillion or exceeded the target set at IDR 110 trillion.
Spokesperson for the Coordinating Ministry for the Economy, Haryo Limanseto, said the government continues to maintain the momentum of national economic growth through strengthening people's purchasing power and optimizing the domestic market.
Throughout 2025, various national shopping agendas such as Harbolnas, Bina, and Epic Sale contributed significantly to economic movement, and specifically the implementation that utilizes the momentum of the Christmas and New Year (Nataru) 2025 holiday, the realization of transactions until early January 2026 was recorded beyond the target that has been determined.
"The success of Harbolnas, Bina, and Epic Sale at the end of 2025 is not just a transaction figure, but a tangible proof of the resilience of our household consumption. In its implementation, Harbolnas which was held on December 10-16, 2025 recorded transactions of Rp. 36.4 trillion, exceeding the target of Rp. 34 trillion and of the total, the sale of local products contributed Rp. 16.6 trillion.
The program was held in cooperation with the Indonesian E-Commerce Association (idEA) and involved MSMEs and various national digital platforms.
Meanwhile, the Bina program, which works with the Indonesian Association of Retailers and Tenants of Shopping Centers (Hippindo) and the Indonesian Shopping Center Management Association (APPBI), recorded a total transaction of IDR 119.3 trillion throughout 2025.
Especially the implementation of the Nataru Bina Indonesia Great Sale (IGS) which took place on December 18, 2025 to January 4, 2026, the realization of transactions reached Rp. 31 trillion, or exceeded the target of Rp. 30 trillion.

"In the future, the government will continue to strengthen synergies with the business world and associations to ensure national shopping events not only encourage short-term transactions, but also strengthen the inclusive and sustainable national economic structure," he said.
He added that through various national shopping agendas, the government is optimistic that household consumption can be maintained, while expanding market access for domestic products, especially MSMEs, as well as strengthening the national retail and digital trade ecosystem.
