JAKARTA - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI) has confirmed its commitment to supporting the national housing agenda by expanding the distribution of Home Ownership Loans for Housing Financing Liquidity Facilities (KPR FLPP) for low-income people (MBR). This support is part of BNI's contribution to the success of the 3 Million House Program to reduce the national housing backlog.

This commitment is reflected in BNI's participation in the implementation of a mass KPR FLPP deed of 50,030 units of houses which are linked to the handover of keys in 2025. This mass deed was held in a hybrid manner and was centered at the Pondok Banten Indah Housing, Serang, Banten, Saturday (20/12/2025).

A total of 300 contracts were carried out directly at the location involving 11 distributing banks, while another 49,730 contracts were carried out online by 39 distributing banks in 33 provinces in 110 districts/cities throughout Indonesia.

The event was attended by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto, Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, Minister of Housing and Spatial Planning Maruarar Sirait, and BP Tapera Commissioner. From BNI, President Director Putrama Wahju Setyawan and his management team were present.

"BNI is committed to continuing to be a strategic partner of the government in accelerating the provision of decent and affordable housing for MBR through easy, fast, and accountable FLPP mortgage financing," said Putrama in a written statement.

As part of the series of events, a symbolic handover of keys was also carried out to 10 MBR representatives from various professional backgrounds, ranging from educators, UMKM actors, workers, fishermen, to TNI members.

FLPP Mandate 2026

In line with this achievement, BNI has again been given the mandate to distribute 17,356 units of FLPP mortgages in 2026 after signing a cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Housing and Spatial Planning and BP Tapera. The signing was held at the BP Tapera Head Office, Jakarta, Tuesday (23/12/2025), together with 43 distributing banks.

BNI is included in the 10 banks with the largest FLPP quota and is represented by Director of Network & Retail Funding Rian Eriana Kaslan. The signing was witnessed by Minister of PKP Maruarar Sirait and BP Commissioner Tapera Heru Pudyo Nugroho.

Rian stated that the assignment was a continuation of BNI's role as a development agent in the housing sector. "With BNI's nationwide network and close synergy with BP Tapera and the Ministry of Public Housing, we are optimistic that the distribution of FLPP 2026 can be targeted, prudent, and provide convenience for MBR to have their first home," he said.

In the future, BNI will continue to optimize the role of its network of offices and all work areas to support the national housing program, ranging from borrower readiness, technical support for the implementation of hybrid contracts, to comprehensive education to the public regarding the benefits and financing schemes of FLPP mortgages.

Through its continued contribution in the housing sector, BNI emphasizes its commitment to not only provide financing, but also to build the foundation of inclusive and sustainable social welfare and economic growth. (ADV)
