JAKARTA - The government has set five strategic issues that can be resolved by the Indonesia National Single Window (INSW) in 2026.
This was revealed in the Coordination Meeting of the Indonesian National Single Window (INSW) Steering Board Semester II 2025 at the Ministry of Finance Office, some time ago.
The strategic activities include adjustments to the regulation of Government Regulation Number 28 of 2025, integration of e-SKA services, expansion of the implementation of SIMBARA commodities, migration of the Indonesia Single Risk Management (ISRM) system, and the supervision mechanism of Strategic Trade Management (STM).
The Secretary of the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, Susiwijono Moegiarso, said the INSW Steering Board Coordination Meeting was a mandate of Presidential Regulation Number 44 of 2018 concerning the Indonesia National Single Window.
"One of the main objectives of the meeting is to encourage the evaluation of the strategic issues of the first semester of 2025 and the discussion of the strategic issue plan to be completed in 2026," he said in a statement, Wednesday, December 24.
He added that the task of the INSW Board of Directors is to harmonize policies and synchronize business processes between Ministries/Institutions.
"The current Board of Directors has involved 21 Ministries/Institutions directly related to export, import, and logistics activities. For this reason, various activities are also evaluated together," he said.
Meanwhile, Government Regulation Number 28 of 2025 has mandated that export, import permits, as well as compliance with the provisions of prohibitions or restrictions on export and import goods (lartas) and the Commodity Balance (NK) be submitted through the INSW system.
"All K/L to adjust their regulations to be in line with PP 28 of 2025," he explained.
In addition, Susiwijono said that Indonesia would implement Strategic Trade Management (STM) in order to monitor exports. This is because STM is one of the requirements in the negotiation of Indonesian tariffs with the United States.
Representatives of Ministries/Institutions who attended the coordination meeting also submitted their input in improving the performance of LNSW.
In addition, it was also conveyed that the INSW system is now the main one-stop-shop for business actors to interact with the government through the principles of single submission, single processing, and single decision making.
This is a real progress in achieving synergy and collaboration between Ministries/Institutions in strategic activities in 2025.
"In the future, I believe that INSW can continue to strive to improve national competitiveness, national logistics performance, the investment ecosystem climate, and provide ease of doing business. For this reason, let's together realize national collaboration to optimize the existence of INSW," he said.
During the meeting, several strategic issues in the first semester of 2025 were discussed, namely strengthening risk management through Indonesia Single Risk Management (ISRM), adjustment of policies in line with Government Regulation Number 28 of 2025 concerning Risk-Based Business Licensing, licensing services in one application/Single Submission, and plans for changes to Presidential Regulation Number 44 of 2018 concerning INSW.
