JAKARTA - PT Jasamarga Bali Tol (PT JBT) officially operates two additional Automatic Toll Substations (GTO) at the Benoa Toll Gate (GT) in Bali.
The process of installing the additional GTO has been carried out since the beginning of December and has been operational on December 22, 2025.
President Director of PT JBT I Ketut Adiputra Karang revealed that under normal conditions, GT Benoa serves an average of 28,000 transactions per day. However, as the volume of vehicles increases, PT JBT takes proactive steps by adding two new GTO units to prevent potential queues.
"We hope that the operation of this additional GTO will increase the capacity of transaction services at GT Benoa," Adi said in an official statement, Tuesday, December 23.
Currently, said Adi, the transaction capacity at GT Benoa reaches 2,400 transactions per hour. With the addition of two GTO units, the transaction capacity is projected to increase to 3,600 transactions per hour.
The addition, he continued, is an effort by Jasa Marga to maintain the smoothness of transactions at toll gates, providing reliable, safe, and comfort-oriented toll road services for road users.
Adi also apologized to all users of the Bali Mandara Toll Road for the inconvenience that arose during the installation of additional GTO installations at GT Benoa.
All toll road users are also urged to always anticipate travel time, comply with traffic signs and follow the instructions of officers in the field.
"In addition, road users are expected to ensure the adequacy of electronic money balances before entering the toll road to support the smooth transaction," he added.
