Tol Prosiwangi Gending-Paiton Segment Opened Free during the Nataru Holiday, Check the Schedule!

JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk opened the functional section of the Probolinggo-Situbondo-Banyuwangi Toll Road (Prosiwangi) Gending-Paiton Segment along 24.08 kilometers (km) during the Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 Holidays (Nataru 2025/2026).

Jasa Marga President Director Rivan A. Purwantono said that this step was taken as a preventive measure against the surge in community mobility, especially in the Pantura area of East Java.

The functional opening is in effect from H-5 Christmas Holiday 2025, namely on Saturday, December 20, 2025, until January 4, 2026 or for 16 days.

"The Probolinggo-Situbondo-Banyuwangi Toll Road (Prosiwangi) Gending-Paiton Segment along 24.08 km will be operated in a situational manner at the discretion of the police to reduce traffic density on the Pantura artery in East Java," said Rivan as quoted from an official statement, Monday, December 22.

Rivan said that the Prosiwangi Segmen Gending-Paiton Toll Road was opened in two directions with daily operating hours from 06.00 WIB to 16.00 WIB. During the functional period, all vehicle classes can pass without being charged toll rates.

"We open the functional section of the Prosiwangi Toll Road Gending-Paiton Segment without tariffs on a situational basis as a proactive step to face the increase in traffic volume in 2025," he said.

Jasa Marga ensures that all operational support aspects have been optimally prepared, ranging from the readiness of facilities and infrastructure to traffic service personnel.

In addition, Jasa Marga also activated response and service teams to anticipate operational disruptions, so that the recovery of traffic flow can be carried out quickly and coordinated.

"Intensive coordination is also carried out with the police and related stakeholders to ensure that traffic arrangements are safe and smooth," he added.
