Kemenkop Trains NTT Weaving Craftsmen To Operate

The Ministry of Cooperatives (Kemenkop) held the Let's Cooperatives for Weaving Crafts Women in the Kupang area, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). Training materials include cooperative training and coaching clinics.

Representative for Women's Solidarity VI for Indonesia (Seruni) of the Red and White Cabinet Sita Ferry Juliantono said that the training, which was attended by 150 weaving craftsmen, is expected to be members of existing cooperatives such as KSP Tanaoba Lais Manekat (TLM).

"In this training, the participants can directly see the success of KSP TLM and if they join, they will immediately benefit," said Sita, Thursday, December 11.

Sita also appealed to large cooperatives such as KSP TLM to be able to recruit community members so that they can join cooperatives. Thus, craftsmen can get easy access to financing and coaching, as is also exhibited in the bazaar which is a product of KSP TLM members.

"I hope that this activity does not stop here, where the TLM KSP can add more members, especially from the training participants," said Sita.

In fact, Sita encouraged KSP TLM to become the Foster Brother of the Red and White Kopdes, which is currently President Prabowo Subianto's priority program.

"We will certainly continue to support the synergy of activities between Seruni, Dekranas, TP PKK, BUMN and local governments through cooperatives for the progress and welfare of the Indonesian people," explained Sita.

Meanwhile, Assistant Deputy for Human Resources and Talenta Capacity Improvement of the Ministry of Cooperatives, Siti Aedah, said that to support this activity, in addition to fertilizer assistance and cooperative training, the Ministry of Cooperatives also provides booth coaching clinics and booth bazaars for cooperative products.

Kegiatan ini, lanjut dia, juga dapat dimanfaatkan untuk konsultasi pembiayaan melalui Lembaga Pengelola Dana Bergulir (LPDB), sedangkan booth bazaar disediakan untuk produk unggulan anggota KSP TLM seperti kain, baju, tas yang berasal dari tenun.

"Berharap kegiatan ini bermanfaat bagi pengembangan koperasi di Indonesia dan siap mendukung keberlanjutan kegiatan ini," tandas Siti.

Booth coaching clinics are provided for consultation rooms on operations for visitors or participants who are interested in operating.

This activity, he continued, can also be used for financing consultations through the Revolving Fund Management Agency (LPDB), while the bazaar booth is provided for superior products for TLM KSP members such as fabrics, clothes, bags from weaving.

"Hopefully this activity will be useful for the development of cooperatives in Indonesia and is ready to support the sustainability of this activity," said Siti.
