In his virtual remarks, the Head of the Quality Control and Supervision Agency for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Products of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (BPPMHKP KKP) Ir. Ishartini expressed his appreciation to Regal Springs Indonesia. He explained that as the number of world residents increased, the need for animal protein is also getting higher. Fish is recognized as the best source of nutrition, especially for child growth and improving health quality.

Ishartini also emphasized that tilapia is one of the high nutritionally valuable freshwater cultivation commodities, with a protein content of around 25gr per 100g of meat, as well as omega-3, other important Danvitamins that are beneficial for heart health, brain and body function as a whole.

"Therefore, let's change the culture of eating fish together and make a positive perception of eating fish through socialization, education and diversification of processed fish, selling fish ready to cook, and ensuring that people can access fresh and quality fish and fish food campaigns," he explained.

He added that the provision of a source of protein fish from cultivation needs to continue to be developed, of course with wise efforts towards the environment. As did Regal Springs Indonesia for its concern for the environment in Lake Toba, as a place of cultivation for tilapia.

"Hopefully, through cooperation, we will change the culture of eating fish and create a positive perception of eating fish. Through the government with relevant business actors and stakeholders, we can advance the fisheries sector and produce the Indonesian Golden Generation," Ishartini hoped.

On National Fish Day 2025, President Director of Regal Springs Indonesia Rudolf Hoeffelman emphasized how the collaboration between Regal Springs Indonesia and the government through quality fish products can contribute to maintaining national and global food security, as well as contributing to the blue economy.

"Tilaia is currently one of the main export commodities in the Indonesian fisheries sector, and is increasing its demand in the global market. Therefore, today we want to bring the same culinary experience that our consumers enjoy in the global market, through tilapia for the people of Indonesia," he explained.

He also added, through this new package from tilapia fillet, it is hoped that people can experience the quality of premium fish products, are more confident when processing fish in a flexible way, and are more satisfied with the results of their cooking.

"This is part of our efforts to provide a new generation of whitefish consumption experience," explained Rudolf.

The Director General of Aquaculture at the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Tb. Haeru Rahayu, emphasized that cultivation fisheries must be carried out in an environmentally friendly and sustainable manner, in line with the Good Fish Cultivation Way (CBIB) based on the blue economy and applicable regulations.

"Of course it is necessary to continue to study and study comprehensively regarding fish cultivation in Indonesia which involves academics, business actors, associations, community communities, the government, and the media. This collaboration is important to maintain Indonesia's position as an exporter country, so that tilapia can continue to penetrate the world market," said Tebe.

On this occasion, Tri Aris Wibowo said that the opportunity for the tilapia business is still very wide open, both for the domestic and foreign markets. Tri Aris also explained that Tilapia Indonesia's fish exports to the world are dominated in the form of frozen Fillet (98.7 percent) and the United States is the main goal of the Tilapia Indonesia market with a share of 64.8 percent of Tilapia Indonesia's total exports. Currently, Indonesia is the third top exporter country of frozen tilapia after China and Colombia.

"Indonesia's trilapia is known to be free from export rejection to the international market, showing that Indonesian fishery products meet international quality and sustainability standards," he said.

In a health talk session, the Head of the Post-Panen Quality Control and Supervision Agency for Marine Products and Fisheries at the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Widya Rusyanto, emphasized that post-harvest quality improvement is the foundation for building consumer confidence in domestic cultivation products.

High quality fishery products are the nation's health investment. With a strong trackability, we ensure that the fish consumed by the community are truly safe and quality," said Widya.

Nutritionis highlights the importance of choosing healthy proteins to support future generation growth and quality of life.

Tilapia has high protein, low fat, and rich in vitamins and minerals. This makes it an ideal choice for child linear growth, post-sakit cell and tissue improvement, adult and elderly muscle mass maintenance, as well as hormone and metabolic regulation," explained dr. Kristina Joy, BMedSc (Hens), M. Nutzi, Sp.GK.

Regal Springs Indonesia has full certification in units of coaching, cultivation, feed factories, and processing plants to ensure sustainable production from upstream to downstream, none other than to maintain the quality and trust of consumers. With tracking, quality, and national and international standard certification, Tilapia fish can become the next generation of whitefish globally," said Tri D. Saputra, Director of Regal Springs Indonesia in a health talk session.

Regal Springs Indonesia hopes that this initiative will be a sustainable step in strengthening the national fisheries supply chain and global markets, increasing the nutritional literacy of Indonesian families, as well as supporting the vision of the 2045 Golden Generation through access to quality proteins and high nutritional value that can be enjoyed by all levels of society.
