20 Percent Pelni Discount Tickets Starting Today, Check Terms And Simulation Tariffs

JAKARTA - PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia or PT PELNI (Persero) provides a tariff discount of 20 percent of the basic tariffs for the Christmas 2025 and New Year 2026 (Nataru) periods.

The discount applies to purchases starting today.

PELNI Corporate Secretary Evan Eryanto said ticket sales with discount discount discounts will begin on Friday, November 21, 2025 for the departure period from December 17, 2025 to January 10, 2026.

The basic tariff is ticket price before adding the insurance cost component and the port fit.

"If insurance and port passes have been added, the average discount discount is equivalent to 16 to 18 percent, and this only applies to economy class passenger ship tickets that can be obtained on all Pelni ship ticket sales channels," said Evan.

Based on calculations from the budget provided by the Government, this discount stimulus targets 405,881 passengers during the upcoming Nataru period. Ticket prices will return to normal rates after the stimulus quota is sold out.

"If public interest is high, it is not impossible before the January 10, 2026 travel period, discount tickets have been sold out, especially since Pelni's digital ticket sales channel is very easy to reach, both through the Pelni Mobile application and the Himbara banking application," said m Evan.

For example, continued Evan, for the Semarang tariff to Karimun Java, which normally sells for Rp. 134,500, after being charged a 20 percent discount from the basic tariff, the tariff becomes Rp. 114,300, after adding the insurance component and the port fit.
