Additional One Fleet Reactivation, Citilink Now Operates 31 Aircraft

JAKARTA - Airline, PT Citilink Indonesia managed to reactivate an additional fleet so that the total fleet currently operating reached 31 units.

Citilink President Director Darsito Hendroseputro said this step was part of the fleet reactivation program being run by the company to strengthen operational capacity and improve services to customers.

The addition of this operational fleet gives Citilink an important momentum to expand the network and strengthen service reliability. We will continue to maintain our commitment to provide a safe, comfortable and timely flight experience for all customers," he said in an official statement, Friday, November 21.

Darsito explained that the reactivation process had been carried out by GMF AeroAsia through a thorough maintenance process, strict inspections, and the fulfillment of all standards set by regulators to ensure aircraft security and readiness before returning to operation.

"This step is a form of strategic collaboration between Garuda Indonesia Group in maintaining optimal quality and supporting flight operations," he said.

Darsito said, the Citilink fleet reactivation program is targeted to reach 36 aircraft operating by the end of the year, a significant increase from 21 aircraft by the middle of the year.

"This achievement shows the positive progress of the series of improvements and recovery efforts that the company continues to make," he explained.

Darsito mengaku, keberhasilan reaktivasi armada ini juga membuka ruang bagi Citilink untuk menyesuaikan kapasitas penerbangan, memperluas jaraingan, serta meningkatkan efisiensi operasional secara keseluruhan.

“Citilink akan terus melanjutkan program reaktivasi armada secara bertahap sesuai rencana, sekaligus memastikan seluruh proses pemeliharaan dan perawatan dilakukan sesuai standar keselamatan penerbangan yang berlaku,” katanya.

Darsito admitted that the success of the reactivation of this fleet also opened up space for Citilink to adjust flight capacity, expand the range, and increase overall operational efficiency.
