JAKARTA - InJourney Hospitality targets the occupancy rate of state-owned hotels which are managed to penetrate 78 percent during the 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year (Nataru) holidays.
This target is projected in line with the increase in tourist mobility in various main destinations.
InJourney Hospitality President Director Christine Hutabarat said that her party estimates that the spike in visits will occur from 18 December 2025 to 4 January 2026.
Furthermore, Christine projects that occupancy in the three-star HIN hotel will reach 72 percent, while four-star and five-star hotels such as The Meru and Bali Beach can penetrate 78 percent.
"For the 5 stars, because we do have Meru and Bali Beach, this is our second year open, it has reached 78 percent. Now the 4 star is around 78 percent. Then the 3 star is around 72 percent," he said at a press conference on the readiness and strategic steps of the InJourney Group in welcoming the Nataru period, at the Sarinah Building, Jakarta, Tuesday, November 18.
Christine said InJourney Hospitality has prepared 36 hotels throughout Indonesia to welcome a surge in visitors during the Nataru holiday period. Where the target of occupancy for the entire hotel can increase by 3 percent.
"So we expect compared to last year and the previous year, the increase (ocupancing) is approximately 3 percent more," said Christine.
