Minister Of Public Works Dody Hanggodo: Integrated People's Schools 30 Medan Accommodate 93 Students

MEDAN - Minister of Public Works (PU) Dody Hanggodo said the Medan 30 Integrated People's School, North Sumatra, accommodated 93 students.

"The total number of students in this school consists of two elementary school classes and high school classes," said Dody as quoted by ANTARA, Sunday, November 9.

He explained that all students of the Medan 30 Integrated People's School received comfortable housing facilities.

This is because the government also provides dormitories with a total of 36 rooms, teacher rooms. Sports facilities, and other supporting facilities.

Furthermore, Dody said, the people's school is a start-up school that aims to foster the enthusiasm of students to achieve their goals.

Therefore, his party will build a permanent people's school building in Medan Tuntungan District.

Physical work is planned to begin in November 2025 which is targeted for completion in July 2026.

Dody said, in total there were five public schools built in North Sumatra with a budget of IDR 300 billion.

"The first physical development in Medan, in early November, was carried out with the target of July 2026 being completed," he said.

"The people's school is facilitated by the needs of school tools and other facilities that are all watched by President Prabowo Subianto. For that, don't worry, the most important thing is to keep the spirit of learning," he said.

He also focused on development in the Nias area which has been included in the budget plan for the construction of a suspension bridge to support students to school.
