Pertamina Add 82,000 3 Kg Elpiji For West Kalimantan

JAKARTA - Pertamina Patra Niaga distributed an additional 82,000 3-kilogram LPG (kg) for the West Kalimantan (West Kalimantan) region to maintain supply stability and anticipate a surge in public consumption.

"Distribution through the official route is available. No need to worry, the stock is safe. Our commitment is to ensure that distribution runs smoothly so that conditions are expected to return to normal this week," said Sales Area Manager Retail Kalbar Pertamina Patra Niaga, Aris Ilmi, as reported by ANTARA, Sunday, September 28.

He said the additional distribution had been running since earlier this week, including about 25,000 tubes which were allocated specifically to Pontianak City and its surroundings.

Aris emphasized that 3 kg LPG is a government subsidy product that is only intended for pre-sesejahtera households and micro-enterprises.

Therefore, the public is asked to buy at the official base at a price according to the provisions.

Meanwhile, the Governor of West Kalimantan, Ria Norsan, ensured that the supply of 3 kg LPG remained safe even though there had been an increase in consumption due to long holidays, the tradition of praying for the grave, and increased culinary activities.

"The stock is available, only dense distribution because consumption increases. I urge the public not to buy. If you usually buy one tube, just one so that the distribution is evenly distributed," said Norsan.

As an anticipatory measure, the West Kalimantan Provincial Government together with Pertamina also increased the distribution quota at a number of points.

"If it's usually 100 tubes, it can be increased to 150 tubes," he said.

With the distribution of an additional 82,000 tubes, the local government and Pertamina hope that the community's needs can be met evenly and maintain stability in the distribution of 3 kg LPG throughout West Kalimantan.
