JAKARTA - The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) reports that 8,344 nutritional fulfillment service units (SPPG) have been built or free nutritious dining kitchens (MBG) to date. The facility was built 100 percent funded by the non-APBN budget.

Head of BGN Dadan Hindayana said President Prabowo Subianto asked BGN to meet the target target of the MBG program for 82.9 million beneficiaries by the end of 2025.

"Alhamdulillah, until today, until this morning, there have been 8,344 SPPGs and 100 percent of the 8,344 are funded by public funds. So, this is an extraordinary community contribution," Dadan said at the signing of the Joint Decree (SKB) at the BGN office, Jakarta, Thursday, September 18.

Dadan said that this year his party received a budget of IDR 71 trillion and is targeted to build 5,000 SPPGs to serve 17.5 million beneficiaries. After this program is running, his party receives complaints from the public, there are still many who have not and want to immediately benefit from the MBG program. In line with that, Prabowo raised the target of MBG beneficiaries to 82.9 million.

As for 2025, his party will receive a budget of IDR 71 trillion and is targeted to build 5,000 SPPGs to serve 17.5 million beneficiaries.

After the program started, his party received complaints from the public, there were still many who had not and wanted to immediately benefit from the MBG program. In line with that, Prabowo raised the target of MBG beneficiaries to 82.9 million people.

His party has also prepared Rp6 trillion in funds from the APBN to build 1,542 SPPG. However, until now, the development process has not been implemented.

For this reason, BGN cooperates with the Ministry of Public Works (PU) and the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) to determine the location and realize the development.

"Alhamdulillah, I have received a commitment from the Ministry of Public Works, that in Public Works there are also funds that can be used to accelerate (the SPPG development), so that later for remote areas I think there will be APBN funds," he said.
