BNI Urges The Public To Beware Of Fake Job Vacancies

JAKARTA - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI reminded the public to be aware of fraud in fake job vacancies that use the name of the company.

This mode often targets job seekers, especially new graduates, through information on fake job vacancies circulating on social media and other communication channels.

BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo explained that the perpetrators usually ask potential victims to transfer a sum of money on the grounds that accommodation or transportation costs are part of the selection process.

"We urge the public not to easily believe in recruitment calls asking for payment of certain costs, because it is clearly not an official BNI procedure," he said in a written statement, Wednesday, September 17.

BNI menegaskan tidak pernah meminta data pribadi di luar mekanisme resmi maupun memungut biaya apa pun dalam seluruh proses rekrutmen. Untuk memastikan kebenaran informasi, masyarakat diminta hanya melamar melalui situs resmi BNI di https://recruitment.bni.co.id.

Okki added that people who find suspicious information related to BNI recruitment can immediately confirm through the company's official channel.

"BNI Call 1500046 is ready to provide valid and verified information," he said.

BNI emphasizes the importance of public caution in responding to any recruitment information circulating. With this vigilance, fraudulent efforts can be prevented so that job seekers only follow the official, safe, and transparent selection process.
