JAKARTA - Banten Province now has a new icon in the world of sports: the Sport Center Banten Stadium or better known as the Banten International Stadium. Built with a contract value of Rp794.8 billion by the Banten Province Public Housing and Settlement Office, this prestigious project was carried out by PT PP (Persero) Tbk, a national construction and investment company under the auspices of Danantara Indonesia.

This magnificent stadium stadium stands in the area of Jl. Raya Serang' Pandeglang, Kemanisan, Curug, Serang, Banten with modern international standard designs. PTPP presents construction innovations through the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM), the precast tribune method, to the QHSE Management Control system to ensure quality, security, and timeliness of project implementation.

With the capacity of the stands equipped with regular chairs, VIPs, and VVIPs, as well as various supporting facilities such as players' dressing rooms, press conference rooms, modern lighting systems, digital scoring boards, synthetic athletics tracks, to telescopic tunneling for players, this stadium is ready to host Indonesian League matches as well as national and international sporting events.

Banten Governor Andra Soni emphasized that the presence of this stadium will provide a big impetus for the development of national football fever, as well as open wider opportunities for Banten for the Banten International Stadium Garapan PTPP: New Pride, International Standards for Indonesian Football Now Used for the Indonesian Super League to host various elite competitions.

On this occasion, Andra Soni also had the opportunity to watch the BRI Super League continued match in the international Banten Stadium (BIS) and admitted that he was happy because after the rain, BIS showed the quality as an international standard stadium and the quality of the field did not change even after the rain.

I again had the opportunity to watch the match at the Banten International Stadium. Apart from watching the match, I also want to make sure to return to our field. Thank God, the field is used in conditions after it rains and the quality is maintained. The match went well," said Andra Soni.

PTPP's Corporate Secretary, Joko Raharjo revealed, Banten Stadium is not only a home for football matches, but also a forum for fostering young athletes, developing the regional creative economy, to new destinations that are proud for the community.

"We believe the presence of the Banten International Stadium (BIS) will be a positive catalyst for the growth of regional potential, both in terms of sports, social, and economic," said Joko.

Responding to the appreciation conveyed by the Governor of Banten, Andra Soni, Joko also expressed his pride for the successful implementation of the BRI Super League continued match which was held at BIS.

"I am also happy and proud because Banten International Stadium received a positive response from the audience, especially from the Governor of Banten who directly witnessed post-rain field conditions. This shows PTPP's commitment to upholding the quality of every project we work on, especially in building international standard facilities such as BIS," concluded Joko.

With the completion of the construction in March 2022, this stadium has officially started operating and is ready to welcome various exciting matches that will make a new history for the world of Indonesian football. PT PP (Persero) Tbk is proud to be part of this milestone.
