IDX Reveals IDX Market Capitalization Increases To IDR 14,211 Trillion

JAKARTA The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) announced that stock trading data on the IDX during the period from September 1 to September 4, 2025 was closed in various ways.

JCI during the week increased by 0.47 percent to close at the level of 7,867,348 from 7,830,493 last week.

The IDX market capitalization for a week also increased by 0.20 percent to Rp14,211 trillion from Rp14,182 trillion a week earlier.

Meanwhile, the average daily transaction frequency this week decreased by 9.88 percent to 2.08 million transactions from 2.31 million transactions last week.

Next, the average daily transaction volume of the Exchange this week also changed by 21.09 percent to 37.24 billion shares from 47.19 billion shares the previous week.

In addition, the decline also occurred in the average IDX daily transaction value, which was 28.43 percent to Rp18.05 trillion from Rp25.22 trillion in the previous week.

Then, foreign investors also recorded a net selling value of IDR 305.18 billion and throughout 2025, foreign investors recorded a net selling value of IDR 55.13 trillion.

Meanwhile, the number of Indonesian capital market investors continues to grow significantly and has succeeded in exceeding the number of 18 million single investors identification (SID), precisely as many as 18,012,665 SID at the end of August 2025.
