JAKARTA - The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) proposed a special allocation fund (DAK) for the aquatic food sector in the 2026 fiscal year (TA) amounting to Rp1.29 trillion.
Minister of KP Sakti Wahyu Trenggono said the physical DAK proposal for aquatic food was an instrument of thematic funding to strengthen the national food production area and support food self-sufficiency from the marine and fisheries sector.
"With regard to DAK, we can convey that until now there has been no physical DAK allocated by the Ministry of Finance for the aquatic food sector in 2026. Therefore, we submit the proposal for physical DAK in the field of aquatic food as a thematic funding instrument to strengthen the national food production area and support food self-sufficiency from the marine and fisheries sector," Trenggono said at a Working Meeting with Commission IV of the DPR RI at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, September 3.
Based on regional proposals at the national development planning deliberation (Musrenbangnas) and directly, said Trenggono, the DAK will later be allocated to provinces and regencies/cities.
First, DAK for provincial authority amounting to Rp752.29 billion.
The budget will focus on the construction or rehabilitation of fishery ports, construction or rehabilitation of cleaning units, facilities and infrastructure (sarpras) for people's salt as well as supervision and conservation areas.
