JAKARTA - PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG) is again holding a Retailer Gathering event as a form of appreciation to building store owners who are the company's strategic partners. The activity which took place at The Westin Surabaya Grand Ballroom & Convention Center, at the end of August 2025 was attended by 406 building stores from various regions in East Java.

In this Retailer Gathering event, GIS gave appreciation to 10 shops with the Best Growth category, 10 Best Loyalty category stores, and 3 Best Legend category stores. In addition, the event was also enlivened by the main door prize lottery in the form of 8 motorcycles and a super grand prize of two Honda Brio and Hilux Rangga cars.

Sales and Marketing Director of GIS, Dicky Saelan said that Retailer Gathering is a form of appreciation and appreciation to the owner of the building store as a partner of the company who has been instrumental in supporting the success and sustainability of the GIS business.

"Since its establishment, GIS has grown with building store partners who have become at the forefront of presenting superior products such as Semen Gresik, Dynamix, and Semen Merdeka to the community, especially in East Java. The role of building shops is very large so that people can get the best products for GIS, both small projects and large-scale infrastructure development," said Dicky Saelan, quoted Monday, September 1.

Furthermore, Dicky Saelan acknowledged that the national cement industry is facing quite a tough challenge with increasingly competitive market conditions. However, SIG believes that togetherness, distributor loyalty, support for building shops, and the right strategy will be able to bring the company to grow bigger.

"We believe that SIG's success is mutual success. With the spirit of togetherness, we will continue to move forward, face challenges, and achieve more proud achievements," said Dicky Saelan.

The event, which was held in collaboration with SIG with the distributors, was also attended by the Board of Directors and Commissioners of SIG Group, management of PT Semen Gresik, and management representatives of all distributors in the East Java region.

Mujianah (44 years old), owner of the Sumber Agung Building Shop in Pelang, Kembangbahu, Lamongan, is grateful to be selected as the winner of the Honda Brio super grand prize draw in the 2025 East Java GIS Retailer Gathering.

"I didn't think I could get a car prize. Several times I participated in the Retailer Gathering event, but this is the first time I managed to bring home the grand prize. So far, GIS has given us a lot of rewards. In fact, almost all the furniture in the house is a gift from GIS," said Mujianah.

Mujianah revealed that the Sumber Agung Building Shop had been established since 1997 and was a family venture initiated by her father with initial capital selling sand, bricks, and other building materials. In 2000, after an attempt was handed over to her as the only child, she began developing a building shop business with a focus on cement products from GIS.

"In the past we only took cement with cold diesel whose cargo was around 200 zak. Now thank God it has developed, sales reached around 10,000 zak per month for Semen Gresik, Semen Merdeka, and Dynamix products. From the start, we only sold GIS products because the quality has been proven. Semen Gresik brand is very strong, so we don't have to bother offering. Consumers themselves already believe that the quality of GIS products is guaranteed, "said Mujianah.

As a loyal partner for more than 25 years, Mujianah emphasized that Sumber Agung will continue to support SIG by providing various products according to consumer needs, ranging from affordable price variants to premium products. "Thank you to GIS, hopefully it will develop and progress," said Mujiana.
