JAKARTA - PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) supports the implementation of the 2025 Aquabike Jetski World Championship at Lake Toba by providing a special crossing service for the Muara-Onan Rungung track of two trips per day.
"The crossing service is served by KMP Kaldera Toba during the event period," said ASDP Corporate Secretary Shelvy Arifin in a statement in Jakarta, quoted by Antara, Saturday, August 16.
He conveyed that the move was taken to ensure the smooth mobility of spectators, participants, and tourists to the location of the international water sports event.
This service adjustment was made in line with changes in the venue for the Aquabike implementation, which was previously to be held in the Pangururan Area, Samosir Regency, moved to Balige, so that all audience movements to Onan Runggu were directed through Muara Port.
"Not only the Aquabike agenda, the implementation of the Powerboat F1 will also be held in Balige with a different date," he said.
The Aquabike Jetski World Championship 2025 event will be held on August 13-17, 2025, while the F1 Powerboat will be held on August 22-24, 2025.
He said, during the Aquabike implementation, KMP Kaldera Toba was focused on serving the Muara 'Onan Rungung track with an adjusted operational schedule.
"This is a manifestation of ASDP's commitment to providing reliable access to transportation during activities," he said.

Last year, Aquabike's activities managed to attract more than 200,000 visitors. ASDP recorded a surge in passengers of up to 12.7 percent during the event in the Lake Toba area.
