MDLA Groundbreaking Children's Entity New Building, Strengthen Distribution In North Sumatra

JAKARTA - PT Anugrah Argon Medica (AAM), a subsidiary of PT Medela Potentia Tbk (MDLA) officially started the construction of a new building in Medan, North Sumatra. This facility will strengthen the distribution network of companies in northern Sumatra, in line with the growth in market demand for health products.

The new building will be built for the function of offices and warehouses that stand on an area of about 10,000 m2 and have a building area of about 6,500 m2. The warehouse capacity to be built is expected to accommodate greater storage needs, especially amid the increasing need for medicines and health products in the North Sumatra region.

The warehouse facility is designed to meet good storage standards, including the need for storage of cold temperatures (2$8$C), cool temperatures (15$25$C), and room temperatures (<30$C) equipped with a 24-hour temperature monitoring system to ensure product quality is maintained to the customer's hands.

The groundbreaking ceremony was held on Friday, August 8, 2025, attended by the President Director of PT Medela Potentia Tbk, Krestijanto Pandji; Operations Director of PT Anugrah Argon Medica, Setyawan Pantja Juwono; Supply Chain & System Director of PT Anugrah Argon Medica, Stephen F. Kusumo; Head of Medan AAM Branch, Endratri Retno Kiswati; along with several AAM management ranks, principal representatives, and community representatives.

President Director of PT Medela Potentia Tbk emphasized that this project is a tangible manifestation of the company's commitment to strengthening national distribution infrastructure.

"We are committed to providing the best service to customers, ensuring that the medicines that we distribute are always maintained in quality, efficacy, and authenticity up to the patient. The construction of the new PT AAM building in Medan branch will improve services and access to medicines, so that it has a positive impact on the health quality of the people of North Sumatra and its surroundings," said Krestijanto.

Operations Director of PT Anugrah Argon Medica added that Medan's strategic position as Sumatra's main logistics gateway is an important factor in this development.

With a larger storage capacity, the stock of medicines can be increased and the distribution range in North Sumatra is expected to be wider. This warehouse will be a new distribution point that strengthens the reach of our services," explained Setyawan.

The new AAM building for the Medan branch is targeted to be completed in the III-quarters of 2026 and will become a strategic distribution hub that not only strengthens AAM's competitiveness but also contributes to the growth of the pharmaceutical distribution industry and national medical devices.
