Didiek Hartantyo Removed From KAI's Managing Director, Replaced By Former Boss Len Bobby Rasyidin

JAKARTA - The Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) and Danantara Indonesia removed Didiek Hartantyo from the position of President Director (Managing Director) of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) or KAI. Instead, Bobby Rasyidin was appointed to occupy the position.

Bobby himself previously served as President Director of PT Len Industri (Persero), the holding company for the Defense Industry BUMN, DEFEND ID.

Not only at the helm, the Ministry of SOEs and Indonesian Danantara also carried out reshuffles to the ranks of the Board of Commissioners and other KAI Directors.

This reshuffle is contained in the Decree of the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises and the President Director of the Company (Persero) PT Danantara Asset Management as Shareholders of the Company (Persero) PT Kereta Api Indonesia Number: SK-224/MBU/08/2025 and SK.039/DI-DAM/DO/2025 dated August 12, 2025.

Based on the letter, the Ministry of SOEs and PT Danantara Asset Management also honorably dismissed Hadith Surya Palapa as Director of Commerce KAI; Rudi Asaturridha as Director of Business and Institutional Development; Rosma Handayani as Director of Human Resources and General Affairs of KAI; and John Robertho as Director of Strategic Planning and Management of KAI Facilities.

In the board of commissioners, shareholders removed Johan Bakti Porsea Sirait as Independent Commissioner; Chairul Anwar as Commissioner, Sri Mulia Mangkoenegoro X alias Gusti Bhre as Commissioner; Rochadi as Independent Commissioner.

Instead, shareholders also appointed Purnomo Sucipto as Commissioner; I Wayan Sugiri as Commissioner; Arnanto as Independent Commissioner; and Raizal Arifin as Independent Commissioner.

Then appointed Dody Budiawan as Deputy President Director; I Gede Darmayusa as Director of Portfolio Management and Information Technology; Wilman Hatoguan Marudut Sidjabat as Director of Strategic Planning and Risk Management; Atih Nurhayati as Director of Human Resources and Institution; Rafli Yandra as Director of Business and Development and Indarto Pamoengkas as Director of Finance and General Affairs.
