Get Ready! Prambanan Klaten Toll Road Starts Arriving Tomorrow, Check The Amount

JAKARTA - The Solo 'Yogyakarta' TOll Road YIA Kulon Progo (Jogja-Solo) segment of the Klaten 'Prambanan will apply tariffs on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, starting at 00.00 WIB.

The tariff has received the blessing of the Minister of Public Works (PU) as stated in the Decree of the Minister of Public Works (Kepmen PU) Number 683/KPTS/M/2025 dated July 22, 2025.

"Since being inaugurated and operating without tariffs for approximately one month, the Solo 'Yogyakarta' SYIA Kulon Progo Toll Road starting this Wednesday or on August 6, 2025 at 00.00 WIB will officially apply tariffs," said President Director of PT Jasamarga Jogja Solo (JMJ) Rudy Hardiansyah in his official statement, Tuesday, August 5.

The Solo Jogja 'Solo Toll Road segment of Klaten' Prambaran is managed by PT Jasamarga Jogja Solo (JMJ). The toll road implements a closed transaction system.

As an illustration for class I road users (private vehicles), the furthest tariff is from the Kartasura direction and comes out at GT Prambanan or vice versa, subject to a tariff of IDR 57,000.

Meanwhile, for the closest distance, entering from GT Klaten out at GT Prambanan or vice versa, the tariff is IDR 15,000.

With the closed transaction system, Rudy reminded road users of the importance of using a similar electronic money card in transactions at entry and exit gates, as well as ensuring the adequacy of electronic money balances during the trip.

According to Rudy, his party has carried out stages of socialization according to applicable regulations, including high levels of meetings, namely holding hearings with local governments and conducting Focus Group Discussions (FGD) with stakeholders.

"In principle, everyone can understand and support the implementation of the Solo 'Yogyakarta' Toll Road tariff NYIA Kulon Progo segment Klaten This Prambanan is carried out as the schedule has been set," he said.

To note, the total length of the Jogja 'Solo Segment Kartasura' Prambanan Toll Road is 30.15 kilometers (km), which currently operates and is 22.3 km long. The Jogja 'Solo Toll Road has been built since 2021 with a concession period of 40 years.

Currently, construction progress for the 1.2 Klaten package 'Purwomartani' has reached 87.90 percent and land acquisition progress of 99.74 percent. Then, the construction progress of Package 2.1A Purwomartani' Maguwoharjo has reached 9.82 percent and land acquisition progress is 91.55 percent, as well as construction progress of Package 2.2B JC Sleman'Trihanggo reaching 63.64 percent and land acquisition progress of 99.83 percent.

Nantinya jika terhubung secara penuh, jalan tol itu akan mempermudah perjalanan masyarakat dari dan menuju Jalan Tol Trans Jawa, baik ke arah Jawa Timur maupun ke Jakarta, serta menjadi pendukung Kawasan Strategis Pariwisata Nasional (KSPN).

"Keberadaan jalan tol ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan konektivitas wilayah Joglosemar (Jogja–Solo–Semarang) dan meningkatkan daya saing investasi di wilayah tersebut," pungkas Rudy.

Later, if it is fully connected, the toll road will make it easier for people to travel from and to the Trans Java Toll Road, both to East Java and to Jakarta, as well as to support the National Tourism Strategic Area (KSPN).

"The existence of this toll road is expected to increase the connectivity of the Joglosemar (Jogja 'Solo' Semarang area and increase the competitiveness of investment in the region," concluded Rudy.
