Good News For Kalimantan Residents, Pertamina Increases Elpiji Gas Allocation Of 3 Kilograms By 5 Percent

JAKARTA - Pertamina Marketing Operation Kalimantan Region has increased the distribution allocation of 3 kg LPG supply by 5.3 percent from the normal monthly average or around 3,566 metric tons or 1,188,843 tubes from the normal monthly average consumption of 33,631 MT for the Kalimantan region ahead of Eid al-Fitr. .

"The strengthening of LPG stocks has been carried out from the end of April with additional reserves through two stages, namely Phase I in April 2020 and Phase II in May 2020," said Executive General Manager for Kalimantan Regional, Freddy Anwar, quoted from Antara, Friday, May 7.

This distribution has been distributed to 252 agents and 2,405 LPG outlets spread throughout the Kalimantan region. For the North Kalimantan region, the addition of Phase I facultatives was 27 MT or 8,960 tubes and facultative Phase II additions were 80 MT or 26,960 tubes.

"In an effort to meet LPG needs, Pertamina is also preparing LPG distribution agencies for Pertamina, namely LPG Siaga agents and outlets totaling 298 PSO agents, 951 PSO outlets, 75 NPSO agents and 276 NPSO outlets throughout the Kalimantan region," said Freddy.

Another anticipatory step is Pertamina instructing agents to fill LPG NPSOs to Modern Outlets such as Indomaret and SPBU as LPG sales outlets.

Pertamina also coordinates with related agencies, namely ASDP, Transportation Agency, Directorate General of Oil and Gas, Local Government, Police and Banking. Coordination is carried out in order to facilitate the distribution of LPG in case of obstacles in the field.

Meanwhile, consumption of avtur during Ramadan and before Eid Al-Fitr 1442 Hijriah tends to decrease by 11.8 percent compared to normal monthly consumption or by 306 KL / month from 347 KL / month for the Kalimantan region.

Meanwhile, for North Kalimantan, the normal consumption of avtur during the month and before Eid al-Fitr tended to decrease by 13 percent compared to normal monthly consumption or by 45.87 KL / month from 52.7 KL / month.

"The decline is also due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the ban on going home which has limited commercial airlines being allowed to fly," said Freddy.

He explained that Pertamina's readiness to maintain avtur stock resilience was still carried out at nine Aircraft Filling Depots (DPPU) even though there was a tendency to decrease in avtur consumption.

It is predicted that the increase in avtur consumption will increase in June since the implementation of the New Habit Adaptation will take place.

"In ensuring the smooth distribution and service of Pertamina in terms of BBM, LPG and avtur, it is hoped that the community will actively participate," he said.
