JAKARTA - Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia asked Blok Masela operator, Inpex Corporation (INPEX) to complete the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) for the development of the Eternal Field by the end of this year.

This was conveyed by the Head of the Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas) Djoko Siswanto in a press conference on the mid-2025 mid-oil and gas performance at the SKK Migas office, Wisma Mulia, Jakarta, Monday, July 21.

"This will soon be signed by the winner of the tender for FEED, and the Minister (Bahlil) asks that FEED be completed by the end of this year, so that 2026 has started tenders for the procurement of goods and services," said Djoko, quoted on Tuesday, July 22.

Djoko continued, SKK oil and gas and the government are actually targeting the winner of FEED to be signed in August 2025.

He detailed that FEED Abadi Field includes work on Onshore LNG, Subsea Umbical Riser & flowline (SURF) to gas export pipes.

Djoxis also targets the final investment decision (FID) for the Abadi Field to be signed next year.

"It is hoped that onstream will be at the latest in 2030, if it can be accelerated, it can increase the condensate by 35.000 barrels per day at its peak," said Djoko.

Previously, Inpex Masela Executive Project Director, LTD., Jarrad Blinko said he was finishing the tender process. After completing this process, the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) phase will begin soon.
