Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto received a visit from the Chairman of Singtel and Temasek Board Members Lee Theng Kiat on Friday, July 18. During the meeting, Coordinating Minister Airlangga appreciated Temasek's support for Indonesia's economic development and encouraged Temasek to continue to expand in the country.

"Temasek has an important role for businesses in Indonesia, especially through capital injection schemes in several Indonesian start-up companies. The government is ready to facilitate steps to increase Temasek's investment in the country," said Coordinating Minister Airlangga in a written statement, Saturday, July 19.

Responding to this, Chairman Lee expressed his appreciation to the Indonesian government for the support provided in running a business in Indonesia.

Indonesia is still an important partner in developing the Temasek investment portfolio in the Southeast Asia region. In the future, Temasek will continue to develop existing investments in Indonesia and open up other opportunities for cooperation," said Chairman Lee.
