JAKARTA - The Minister of Environment (LH), Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, encourages the Indonesian Industrial Bay Park (IWIP) Industrial Estate to be a pioneer in the development of the green nickel industry in Indonesia. After that, Minister Hanif also reviewed domestic waste incinerator facilities that play an important role in reducing the burden on landfills (TPA) and minimizing the risk of pollution. He emphasized the importance of monitoring the burning temperature, emission management, and handling residue according to environmental quality standards.

After seeing the mining area of PT WBN, Minister Hanif conveyed the need to accelerate environmental rehabilitation, especially the revegation of open land with local plants.

"Rehabilitation must be carried out as soon as possible. There is no need to wait for all areas to be mined," said Minister Hanif.
