JAKARTA - Perum Bulog ensures its readiness to distribute rice food assistance to 18.27 million food aid recipients (PBP) throughout Indonesia.
Bulog Director of Operations and Public Services M Suyamto said the distribution would be carried out immediately after the issuance of an official assignment from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) through letter number 170/TS.03.03/K/7/2025 regarding the Assignment of Distribution of Rice Food Assistance for the Period of June and July 2025 on July 4, 2025.
"This food aid is part of the thickening of social assistance in 2025 initiated by the government to maintain the economic stability of low-income communities and suppress food inflation, especially rice," said Suyamto.
The distribution of food assistance is carried out based on PBP data set by Badanas through coordination with the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) to ensure that assistance is right on target.
According to Bapanas' direction, said Suyamto, the distribution of food aid is carried out in one shot or one delivery for allocation two months at a time, namely June and July 2025. Each PBP will receive 10 kg of rice per month, with a total of 20 kg per recipient.
"We have received an official assignment from Badanas, and all Bulog distribution lines are ready to move. We ensure that the quality of the rice distributed is the best rice from the Government Rice Reserve (CBP) which we have been guarding so far," he said.
Perum Bulog has prepared a comprehensive distribution of aid, ranging from the readiness of CBP stocks in warehouses throughout Indonesia, adequate logistics fleets, to information technology-based distribution systems for real-time monitoring.
