This Sari Roti Producer Owned By Anthony Salim's Conglomerate Distributes Dividends Of Rp. 300 Billion

JAKARTA - PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk experienced a decrease in net profit in the 2020 financial year. Even so, the Sari Roti producer will still distribute cash dividends worth a total of Rp300 billion to its shareholders.

Director of Nippon Indosari Arlina Sofia said the dividend distribution decision was agreed upon through the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) of the issuer codenamed ROTI shares which will be held today, Wednesday, May 5.

"Even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, the company can still record good performance in 2020 with IDR 3.2 trillion in sales and IDR215.1 billion in net profit attributable to the parent entity or still maintaining net profit margin at level 6. , 7 percent, "said Arlina in her statement.

The dividend will be distributed on June 3, 2021. Arlina said that dividend distribution is a form of appreciation from ROTI to shareholders who have always supported the company and considering the growing bread business in Indonesia.

Based on the 2020 annual report, this bread producer whose shares are owned by conglomerate Anthony Salim recorded a decrease in revenue of 3.74 percent on an annual basis (year-on-year) to IDR 3.21 trillion. The weakening of revenue also eroded ROTI's profit which was recorded to have decreased by 28.55 percent to IDR215.05 billion compared to 2019's realization of IDR301 billion.
