He added that national fisheries production until the first quarter of 2025 had reached 5.58 million tons.
According to Trenggono, that figure grew 2 percent compared to the same period in 2024.
"This growth was driven by an increase in cultivation fish production by 3 percent, seaweed production 2.2 percent and fisheries production by 0.7 percent," said Trenggono.
