Deputy President Director of InJourney Airports Achmad Syahir, in Tangerang, Banten, Friday, said that cumulatively the number of flight passengers could reach 2.71 million or an increase of about 8 percent compared to the Eid holiday period last year of 2.52 million passengers.

"The highest number of aircraft passengers is predicted on June 5, 2025, reaching around 500 thousand passengers, while the peak after Eid al-Adha is estimated on June 9 with around 450 thousand passengers," he said again.

He also said that the movement of aircraft during the long holiday period is predicted to reach around 20 thousand flights, an increase of 5.25 percent.

"The increase in the number of airplane passengers, among others, was driven by the Eid holiday adjacent to the weekend and then continued collective leave," he said.
