Ahead Of The Vesak Long Holiday, The Volume Of Traffic On The Trans Sumatra Toll Road Increases

The volume of traffic on the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) has increased during the holiday period and collective leave in the framework of the 2025 Vesak Day. A total of 106,941 vehicles passed on D-1 ahead of Vesak Day or May 10, 2025.

EVP Corporate Secretary of PT Hutama Karya (Persero) Adjib Al Hakim said that the movement of vehicles passing through JTTS increased by 20.84 percent compared to normal traffic.

"PT Hutama Karya (Persero) informed the latest developments on the Traffic Flow on the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) during the holiday period and collective leave in the context of Vesak Day 2025, with vehicle traffic passing by 106,941 vehicles on May 10, 2025 with an increase of 20.84 percent compared to normal traffic on the same day," he said in an official statement, Sunday, May 11.

The details, continued Adjib, the Terbanggi Besar-Kayu Agung Toll Road totaled 15,231 vehicles, an increase of 14.73 percent compared to normal traffic. Then, the Palembang-Indralaya-Prabumulih Toll Road was 14,087 vehicles, an increase of 14.04 percent compared to normal traffic.

Then, the Betung-Tempino-Jambi (Bayung Lencir-Tempino) Toll Road with 6,141 vehicles or an increase of 13.74 percent compared to normal traffic. Then, the Bengkulu-Taba Tanjung Toll Road with 2,125 vehicles or an increase of 3.81 percent compared to normal traffic.

Furthermore, the Pekanbaru-Dumai Toll Road with 17,928 vehicles or an increase of 13.89 percent compared to normal traffic. Then, the Pekanbaru-XIII Koto Kampar Toll Road with 10,291 vehicles or an increase of 46.83 percent compared to normal traffic.

Then, the Indrapura-Kisaran Toll Road with a total of 11,760 vehicles or an increase of 22.94 percent compared to normal traffic. Furthermore, the Binjai-Langsa (Binjai-Pangkalan Brandan) Toll Road with a total of 11,426 vehicles or an increase of 20.11 percent.

Meanwhile, the Sigli-Banda Aceh Section 2-6 (Seulimeum-Baitussalam) totaled 5,143 vehicles, or an increase of 48.72 percent from normal traffic. Meanwhile, the Kuala Tanjung-Tebing Tinggi-Parapat Section 1 -4 (Kuala Tanjung-Pamatang Siantar) totaled 12,809 vehicles, an increase of 26.07 percent from normal traffic.
