KUTAI KARTANEGARA - PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam (PHM) reported that until March 2025 it had produced 439 Million Standard Cubic Feets per Day (MMSCFD) of gas and oil of 25.1 Barrel Oil Per Day (BOPD).

This working visit aims to directly review infrastructure and operational activities upstream oil and gas in East Kalimantan Province, ensure the sustainability of national energy production, as well as affirm the government's commitment to increasing national oil and gas production in a sustainable manner.
"As for drilling, PHM has succeeded in drilling as many as 20 tax wells," he said, quoted Friday, May 2.
He explained that this success was supported by PHM's strategy in terms of field optimization, application of the latest technology, and operational efficiency that allowed production to remain stable amid the challenges of the global oil and gas industry.
In addition to achieving production, PHM also emphasized its commitment to work safety. As of March 29, 2025, PHM has recorded 571 days or the equivalent of 44,294,278 working hours without accidents.
