JAKARTA - Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Maruar Sirait (Ara) said his party would draw up a scheme to provide subsidized houses to household assistants aka ART.
Ara said that his party would draw up the scheme together with the People's Housing Savings Management Agency (BP Tapera).
"Please pray, yes. We and Mr. Heru (Commissioner of BP Tapera) are still preparing a scheme (giving subsidized houses) for ART, yes," Ara told reporters at Wisma Mandiri, Jakarta, Tuesday, April 22.
He asked the media crew for prayers so that the scheme could be completed in the near future.
"Please pray, yes. Hopefully in a few months we will make the process," he said.
According to Ara, this is the government's commitment to care about the small people, such as household assistants (ART).

Previously, Minister Ara had signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the construction of 20,000 houses for workers.
The memorandum of understanding was carried out with the Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Yassierli and the Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti at the Wisma Mandiri office, Jakarta, Thursday, April 10.
He said he would provide the first 100 houses for workers on May 1, 2025, which coincides with International Labor Day.
