Minister Dody Hanggodo Revokes Rules Regarding The IKN Development Task Force

JAKARTA - Minister of Public Works (PU) Dody Hanggodo revoked the rules regarding the Task Force for the development of the State Capital (Nusantara) infrastructure.

This is stated in the Decree of the Minister of Public Works Number 408/KPTS/M/2025 concerning the Revocation of the Decree of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (Kepmen PUPR) Number 17/KPTS/M/2024 concerning the State Capital Infrastructure Development Task Force.

"When this Ministerial Decree came into effect, the Decree of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Number 17/KPTS/M/2024 concerning the State Capital Infrastructure Development Task Force was revoked and declared invalid," wrote the regulation as seen by VOI on the official website of the Ministry of Public Works, Thursday, April 17.

The decision is effective from March 26, 2025, since the regulation was signed by the Minister of Public Works, Dody Hanggodo.

"That the implementation of the infrastructure development of the State Capital is carried out by the Archipelago Capital Authority, so that the State Capital Task Force is not needed at the Ministry of Public Works," the regulation reads.

The IKN Infrastructure Development Task Force itself was formed by the Minister of PUPR in the Jokowi era, namely Basuki Hadimuljono in 2021 through the Decree of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Number 1419/KPTS/M/2021 concerning the IKN Infrastructure Development Task Force.

"The IKN Task Force is tasked with assisting the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing in coordinating and controlling the planning and implementation of infrastructure development I of the State City with an approach of integration, innovation and good governance," the regulation wrote.

Currently, the position of Head of the IKN Infrastructure Development Task Force is held by Danis H. Sumadilaga. Danis previously served as Director General of Human Settlements at the Ministry of PUPR.
