50th Anniversary, TMII Gives Entrance Ticket Discounts Of Up To 50 Percent

JAKARTA - Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) will enter its 50th year age on April 20.

In this golden momentum, the grandson of the BUMN Holding Sector Aviation and Tourism company PT Aviasi Wisata Indonesia (Persero) or InJourney will provide an entry ticket discount of up to 50 percent.

President Director of TMII, Intan Ayu Kartika, said that in commemoration of the five decades of travel, TMII will hold a series of celebrations entitled The People's Party of the Archipelago.

"At this golden age, we want to emphasize that TMII is not just a past, but also an important part of Indonesia's new story going forward," he said in an official statement, Friday, April 11.

Intan said the People's Party of the Archipelago will be held for a full 10 days, from 18 to 27 April 2025 which targets the presence of more than 200,000 visitors, and becomes a symbol of the transformation of TMII towards an inclusive, dynamic, and innovative cultural destination.

"To invite more people to celebrate this moment, TMII provides a 50 percent discount on people's entrance tickets during the two main birthday days from 19 to 20 April 2025," he said.

Intan said more than 50 art and cultural performances would be presented at various regional platforms, featuring a variety of dances, music, traditional rituals, and traditional clothing from all over Indonesia, including the performance of Wayang Orang Baratha and Rampak Kecak Indonesia, as well as the Wayang Show Last Night.

Meanwhile, Corporate Secretary Group Head of InJourney, Yudhistira Setiawan revealed that since the inauguration of the New Face TMII on September 1, 2023, TMII has really shown very significant changes with various innovations both in terms of attractions, education, and even the environment.

"It provides a new experience for tourists in traveling in Jakarta and of course in getting to know the Indonesian culture more inclusively," said Yudhistira.

President Director of InJourney Destination Management, Febrina Intan added, TMII transformations carried out in 2022 to 2023 will not only affect infrastructure changes but also values in its management to Smart, Green, Inclusive, and Culture.
