JCI Opened To Drop 9.19 Percent After Lebaran Holiday, Directly Hit By Halding

JAKARTA - The Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) opened down 9.19 percent to 5,912.06 at 09.00 WIB, Tuesday, April 8 after the 2025 Eid holiday.

Adapun hal tersebut otomatis terjadi pembekukan sementara perdagangan (trading halt) pada sistem perdagangan pada pukulul:00 waktu Jakarta Automated Trading System (JATS).

A total of 9 issuer shares rose in trading this morning. Meanwhile, 552 other stocks fell and 65 stocks were stagnant.

For the time being, the total transactions recorded were IDR 1.92 trillion with a total share trading of 1.591 billion shares with a frequency of 64,620 times.

In addition, issuers who entered the ranks of Top Gainers, namely PT Bali Towerindo Sentra Tbk (BALI) rose 4.96 percent to Rp1,270, PTb Asuransi Dayin Mitra Tbk (ASDM) rose 2.98 percent to Rp484, PT Pakuan Tbk (UANG) rose 2.48 percent to Rp330.

Meanwhile, those who entered the top-loss ranks were shares of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) down 12.9 percent to Rp7,400, shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BBRI) down 14.57 percent to Rp3,460, shares of PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI) down 13.46 percent to Rp4,500, shares of PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BBNI) fell 13.21 percent to Rp3,680.

PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (IDX) today, Tuesday, April 8, 2025, an action was taken to temporarily freeze the trading system on PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (IDX) at 00:00 p.m. Jakarta Automated Trading System (JATS).

The trade will resume at 09:00 p.m. JATS time without any changes in the trading schedule.

This action was taken because there was a decrease in the Composite Stock Price Index (JCI) which reached 8 percent.

The IDX makes this effort to maintain stock trading so that it is always orderly, reasonable, and efficient in accordance with Regulation Number II-A concerning Equity Stock Trading and is further regulated in the IDX Directors Decree number Kep-00002/BEI/04-2025.
