Jasa Marga Prepares 61 Rest Areas To Serve Homecomers During Eid Holidays

BEKASI - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) said, as many as 61 resting places and services (TIP) aka rest areas are ready to be used by travelers during the Eid holidays.

Jasa Marga's Corporate Communication and Community Development Group Head Lisye Octaviana said the 61 TIPs were spread across all Jasa Marga managed toll roads.

"We have prepared 59 operational rest areas and two functional rest areas spread across all Jasa Marga group toll roads," Lisye said at a Jasa Marga Alert press conference: Idulfitri 1446 Hijri Operational Readiness at the Jasa Marga Tollroad Command Center office, Jatiasih, Bekasi, West Java, Wednesday, March 19.

In detail, five TIPs on the Jagorawi Toll Road, two TIPs on the Jakarta 'Tangerang Toll Road, eight TIPs on the Jakarta 'Cikampek Toll Road, two TIPs on the Palimanan' Kanci Toll Road and eight TIPs on the Cipularang 'Padaleunyi Toll Road.

Then, seven TIPs on the Semarang 'Solo Toll Road, four TIPs on the Batang' Semarang Toll Road, one TIP on the Semarang ABC Toll Road, six TIPs on the Solo'Ngawi Toll Road and four TIPs on the Ngawi 'Kertososono Toll Road.

Then, two TIPs on the Surabaya 'Mojokerto Toll Road, four TIPs on the Pandaan' Malang Toll Road, two TIPs on the Surabaya Toll Road Two TIP on the Gempol 'Pasuruan Toll Road.

Meanwhile, there are four TIPs spread across Jasa Marga's managed toll roads outside Java.

In detail, as many as two TIPs on the Medan Tebing Tinggi Toll Road and two other TIPs on the Balikpapan 'Samarinda Toll Road.

"We also apply a rest area management system to be able to ensure and maximize the optimization of parking capacity and outflow," he said.

Lisye added, in the rest area there are a number of facilities that can be used by travelers, such as lactation rooms, driver rest areas to health posts.

"Then we also cooperate with BMKG to anticipate extreme weather conditions at this time, (one of them) providing an early warning system," said Lisye.

Previously, Jasa Marga projected that as many as 2.18 million vehicles would carry out homecoming during the Lebaran 2025 holiday.

Lisye said, this figure increased by 1.1 percent when compared to the flow of homecoming during the Lebaran holiday last year.

"Proyeksi lalu lintas keluar Jakarta melalui Gerbang Tol (GT) Cikampek, GT Kalihurip Utama, GT Ciawi dan GT Cikupa sebanyak 2,18 juta kendaraan, naik 1,1 persen dibanding period 2024," tuturnya.
