KENDARI - The government has added two public refueling stations for fishermen (SPBUN) in Wakatobi and South Buton Regencies, Southeast Sulawesi Province (Sultra).
"We also decided to add gas stations, so later we will add them in the South Buton area and then in Tomia, Wakatobi Regency," said Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Bahlil Lahadaliadiansir ANTARA, Sunday, March 9.
Bahlil said the addition of one gas station in Tomia, Wakatobi Regency to head for the islands of Kaledupa and Binongko to meet fuel supplies.
"We put one in Tomia to accommodate the islands of Kaledupa and Binongko," said ESDM Minister Bahlil Lahadalia who is also the General Chair of the Golkar Party DPP.
Bahlil said the availability and quality of fuel oil (BBM) during Ramadan and ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1446 Hijriah was safe and smooth.
"Regarding fuel, Alhamdullilah, until now our reserves have reached a capacity of 17 to 21 days, so there are no problems, both Pertalite, Pertamax and diesel," he said.
Minister Bahlil emphasized the importance of optimal energy availability in all regions, especially ahead of the peak of homecoming flow and the celebration of Eid al-Fitr.
"The government ensures that people do not experience problems in getting fuel and LPG during the Eid al-Fitr moment. I appreciate Pertamina Patra Niaga's proactive steps in maintaining supply and energy distribution, especially in eastern Indonesia. Baubau and its surroundings are a concern because of its strategic role in connectivity and logistics in Southeast Sulawesi. I also ensure that fuel stocks are in a safe condition and their quality remains according to specifications (on-spec), so people don't have to worry about meeting energy needs during the Eid homecoming period and Eid holidays," he said.
