Supporting The Expansion Of Electric Cars, BNI Collaborates With Geely

JAKARTA - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI cooperated with Geely Auto Indonesia in supporting the penetration of electric cars in Indonesia.

This commitment was marked by the signing of a cooperation attended by representatives from each financial institution, including BNI represented by the International and Financial Institutions Division Head Rima Cahyani.

In his statement, BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo revealed that this collaboration was agreed to provide flexible and competitive financing solutions for Geely Auto consumers.

"BNI as one of the largest national banks has a crucial role in supporting the automotive industry through various financing services, both for dealers and consumers including collaboration with Geely Auto," he said, Wednesday, February 26.

Okki explained that BNI's collaboration with Geely Auto includes two main schemes, namely Dealer Financing, where BNI provides financing solutions for Geely dealers to facilitate unit procurement from the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), thereby accelerating vehicle distribution to consumers.

Another agreement is Retail Financing, where BNI Group through BNI Finance offers a vehicle credit scheme with competitive interest rates, flexible tenors, and a fast approval process to help consumers have Geely cars more easily.

"BNI is committed to not only providing vehicle financing but also supporting Geely in building a sustainable automotive ecosystem," he explained.

Okki said that BNI's support for Geely Auto was carried out through Financing the Dealer Expansion, namely expanding the Geely dealer network in various cities in Indonesia, Green Financing's support is to provide a green financing scheme for Geely's electric vehicles to support the transition of environmentally friendly energy.

In addition, BNI also provides Digital Payment and Banking Solutions which integrates BNI digital banking services in Geely vehicle purchase transactions.

Okki added that this collaboration is a tangible manifestation of BNI's commitment to supporting a stronger and more sustainable automotive industry in Indonesia. With the support of the banking sector, including innovative financing schemes and digital financial products, BNI is optimistic that it can continue to provide financial solutions that help consumers and dealers in owning and developing Geely's vehicle business.

"This collaboration is expected to be a positive impetus for both companies in improving superior performance and solutions for consumers in getting better products," concluded Okki.
