Appointed As Chairman Of The Danantara Council, Erick Thohir Ensures Maximum Supervision

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto has launched the Anagata Nusantara Power Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara). Prabowo also appointed Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Ericl Thohir as Chairman of the Danantara Supervisory Board (Dewas).

Erick's appointment is also in line with the signing of Presidential Decree Number 30 of 2025 concerning the Appointment of the Supervisory Board and the Implementing Body of the Anagata Nusantara Power Investment Management Agency.

"Thank you to Mr. President Rl, General TNI (Ret.) H Prabowo Subianto, for the trust given to me as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Danantara Investment Management Agency," wrote Erick Thohir on his Instagram account @erickthohir, Tuesday, February 25.

Erick ensured that Danantara's work supervision would be carried out optimally. Especially to maintain the principles of good corporate governance.

"In accordance with the direction of the President, we are committed to implementing good corporate governance (Good Corporate Governance) in carrying out the supervisory function in the Danantara," wrote Erick again.

Erick conveyed that the launch of Danantara also marked Indonesia's important step as a nation. The purpose of establishing this institution is also to ensure that downstream and accelerate industrialization continues until it ultimately encourages national economic growth of up to 8 percent per year.

"Of course, we will work with all ranks to ensure Danantara operates transparently, accountably, and professionally," said Erick.

Presiden Prabowo Subianto telah resmi meluncurkan Badan Pengelola Investasi Daya Anagata Nusantara (BPI Danantara) atau Danantara Indonesia. Prabowo juga telah mengangkat Rosan Roeslani sebagai kepala alias Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Danantara.

The appointment of Rosan as CEO of Danantara was confirmed by the Head of the Presidential Communication Office Hasan Nasbi, at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Monday, February 24.

Hasana said Rosan would also be accompanied by Dony Oskaria as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Pandu Sjahrir as Danantara's Chief Investment Officer (CIO).

"Dantara will be led by Mr. Rosan Roslani, later will be assisted by Mr. Dony Oskaria as Operational Holding and Mr. Pandu Syahrir who will hold the Investment Holding," Hasan said.

Then, the Danantara Supervisory Board (Dewas) was also appointed directly by the President. Hasan said that the Minister of SOEs, Erick Thohir, was appointed as Chairman of the Council and Muliaman Hadad as Deputy Chair.

"The chairman of the Supervisory Board who has been appointed by the President is Mr. Erick Thohir, and Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board Mr. Mulyamman Hadad," said Hasan.

Hasan said that the former president of Indonesia would also be invited to be part of the advisory structure of Danantara Indonesia.

"Later, the former President will be invited to become an advisor so that this institution is really guarded, guarded by figures who are full of integrity and indeed love Indonesia," he said.
