Tenant KITB firmly voiced hope that SEZ status can be realized soon. Joanna Tsai, Sales Manager & E-XIM of PT Yih Quan Footwear Indonesia, emphasized that her company has benefited from becoming a tied area and is ready to fully support KITB as a SEZ.

Taufiq Riza Sutrisna, HR Manager of PT Sampoerna Kayoe, added that the acceleration of the SEZ will have a positive impact on job creation and attract more quality workers.

Meanwhile, Ngurah Wirawan, President Director of PT Kawasan Industri Terpadu Batang, emphasized the readiness of KITB to transform into a SEZ.
"We have met various requirements to become SEZs and are ready to collaborate with the government to realize national targets in accelerating economic growth," he said.
