Airlangga Asks DGT To Find Solutions To The Coreliax Problem Faced By FMCG Companies

Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said he had asked the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) to speed-moving consumer goods (FMCG) which issue many invoices every day to have differences with other taxpayers so as not to hinder tax reporting and business operations.

"Earlier, I asked that there be something different between fast moving consumer goods, companies that produce many invoices, there needs to be a separate system. Because it is different between one taxpayer and the company that produces many invoices, companies that cut taxes a lot," said Airlangga to the media crew, Monday, February 3.

Meanwhile, Airlangga said that with the Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati had made a visit to the Directorate General of Taxes to review the development of the beliax system.

In addition, Airlangga said that his party provided full support so that the beliax system could be prepared to run well.

"We will see the progress of the coretax. We will provide support, that this is to be prepared," he explained.

On the other hand, Airlangga admitted that at the beginning of the launch of the beliax system, several taxpayers were still having problems and this was natural so they got useful feedback for improvement in the future.

"Yes, all of them at the time of launching a system like this must have problems. In fact, these obstacles are feedback for input for improvement," he said.

In addition, Airlangga assessed the importance of preparing for improvement in the system because it is used nationally.
