100 Days Of Prabowo's Government, Hutama Karya Functions 89.1 Kilometers Of Trans Sumatra Toll Road

JAKARTA - In the first 100 working days of President Prabowo Subianto, PT Hutama Karya (Persero) successfully functionalized four 89.1 kilometers of the Trans Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS).

This section is operated to support the smooth flow of vehicles during the 2024 Christmas and 2025 New Year holidays (Nataru 2024/2025).

The toll roads include the Sigli 'Banda Aceh Toll Road Section 1 Padang Tiji' Seulimeum (23.9 kilometers), the Binjai 'Langsa Section 3 Tanjung Pura' Pangkalan Brandan (19.1 kilometers),

The Kuala Tanjung Toll Road 'High Cliffs' Parapat Section 2 Kuala Tanjung' Indrapura (10.1 kilometers) which is managed by Hutama Karya's subsidiary and the Pekanbaru 'Padang Section 1 Padang' Sicin (36 kilometers).

"We ensure that the completion of each segment remains focused on completing in early 2025," said Executive Vice President (EVP) Corporate Secretary Hutama Karya Adjib Al Hakim in a written statement, Wednesday, January 22.

During the functional period, this toll road serves up to 115,583 vehicles per day, both logistics vehicles and passengers. The highest enthusiasm was recorded on the Padang 'Sicincin Toll Road, which is the first toll road in the region.

Hutama Karya is committed to accelerating the construction of JTTS with an additional target of 92.1 kilometers by 2025. This priority project includes, the Kayu Agung 'Palembang' Bentung Toll Road (Betung' Palembang Section), Betung Toll Road (Sekayu Intersection) 'Tempino' Jambi, Pekanbaru Rengat Toll Road (Pekanbaru'unction Section).

The company will also develop modern rest areas and access to Lubuk Alung to support the convenience of road users and local economic growth.

"This facility not only increases the comfort of road users, but also encourages local economic growth through empowering small and medium enterprises (SMEs) around toll roads," he concluded.
