The Number Of Tourists Visiting Tanjung Bira, South Sulawesi In 2024 Reaches 2,860 People

JAKARTA - The number of foreign tourists visiting the Tanjung Bira tourist area, Bulukumba Regency, South Sulawesi (Sulsel), during 2024 reached 2,860 people.

"The 2024 achievement is much greater than the number of foreign tourists visiting in 2023," said Head of the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of the Bira Tourism Area, Mustamar, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, January 15.

He said the high number of foreign tourists visiting the Bira area was supported by other destinations such as Pua Janggo and Point Zero.

"Not far from that location, there is also a beach destination with an atmosphere that offers exotic panoramas, namely Apparalang Beach," he said.

This was confirmed by visitors to the Tanjung Bira tourist destination, Alvin Max, a foreign tourist from Australia.

He said that marine-based tourist destinations always offer their own panorama beauty, so they don't get bored to be visited repeatedly.

"We ourselves on the 2024 Christmas holiday vacation here with our families and come back again in early 2025 to vacation with friends," said Alvin.

In addition to the interest of foreign tourists, the UPT of the Bira Tourism Area, the Bulukumba Tourism, Youth and Sports Office (Dispapora) also recorded that the number of visitors to domestic and local tourists who enjoyed the Tanjung Bira tourist destination during 2024 reached 564,026 people.
