Pertamina Invites Communities To Collect Crude Oil With A Reward Points And A Balance Of IDR 6,000 Per Liter

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga launched the Green Movement UCO program which has been launched since December 21, 2024, managed to collect 1,162 liters of crude oil at 6 UCOllect Box points and the Used Cooking Oil (UCO) collection program at a number of gas stations and IHC Pertamina hospitals.

Through this program, Pertamina invites the public to collect used cooking oil or crude oil which will later be processed into fuel products such as Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO) and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).

"After being collected, we will take it to Pertamina Group's subsidiaries to be processed into biofuels such as HVO and SAF so that this initiative not only reduces household waste but is part of a more environmentally friendly clean energy solution," said Pertamina Patra Niaga Corporate Secretary, Heppy Wulansari, Tuesday, January 14.

Just so you know, the UCO Green Movement program is a pilot project program that will last for the next year, collaborating with the noovoleum as an internationally certified UCollect Box provider as an oil collector or UCO.

Currently, the collection points are at 6 points, namely the Pertamina Patra Niaga Office, West Java Regional in Central Jakarta, Central Pertamina Hospital in South Jakarta, 31,401,01 Dago Bandung gas stations, 31,128,02 MT Haryono South Jakarta gas stations, 31,134.02 Kalimalang East Jakarta gas stations, and 31,153,01 South Tangerang BSD gas stations, the six points will continue to be evaluated continuously for expansion to other locations in Indonesia.

Pertamina Patra Niaga offers various benefits that will be obtained by the community if they participate in a program where UCOllectors or people who collect refined oil in the UCollect Box will receive rewards in the form of e-wallet balances ranging from IDR 6,000 per liter and will get an additional MyPertamina point of 5 points per liter.
