Badminton Successfully Serve 6.06 Million Passengers Throughout 2024

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) recorded a total of 6.06 million passengers who had been served throughout 2024. The passengers usedASH from four stations.

The four stations are Halim, Karawang, Padalarang, and Tegalluar Summarecon.

For Kawarang station, it only operated some time ago to support the Christmas and New Year (Nataru) holidays.

KCIC General Manager Corporate Secretary Eva Chairunisa said the number of KCIC passengers in 2024 will continue to grow in average monthly passengers.

The total number ofPORTed passengers since the beginning of operation until December 31, 2024 has reached 7.1 million passengers.

Seeing these conditions, said Eva,ctions have been proven and continue to be the people's main choice for a fast and comfortable journey.

This year is an important year for KCIC because the number of passengers continues to grow gradually. This year better known and in demand by the public, thus encouraging KCIC to present innovations that can increase passenger comfort," Eva said in an official statement, Wednesday, January 1.

At the beginning of the operation, continued Eva, in October 2023, the average number ofPORTed passengers was at 13,000 passengers per day.

In June 2024 the number increased to 17,800 passengers per day and jumped to 19,900 passengers per day during the school holidays in July 2024.

"The peak occurred in December 2024, whereminish has an average steady daily passenger of 20,200 passengers per day," he said.

According to Eva, the number of passengers continues to grow due to the increase in the number of regular trips from the initial 14 trips per day in October 2023 to 48 trips per day since May 2024.

"Although there is an increase in the number of trips, safety and timeliness ofPORTs and services to passengers remains the main priority," he explained.

Eva said that the Halim Station route to Padalarang was the main choice for the community in 2024 with a total of 2 million passengers served, followed by the Padalarang-Halim route as many as 1.9 million passengers, and Halim-Tegalluar Summarecon as many as 748,000 passengers.

Meanwhile, Halim Station is the busiest station with 3.1 million passengers served in 1 year.

Followed by Padalarang with 2.2 million passengers, Tegalluar Summarecon with 741,000 passengers, and Karawang with 2,000 passengers.

Eva also said that the number of passengers throughout 2024 was supported by various important moments that occurred, such as Lebaran transportation in the March-April 2024 period, Frequent Rights Card which was launched in May 2024, school holidays in the period June-July 2024, opening ofELAH Karawang Station, and Nataru transportation.

KCIC also continues to improve facilities at stations to improve passenger comfort, including expanding parking areas, adding supporting facilities, and developing digital-based services.
