Many New Ministries/Ls, Sri Mulyani Reveals The Use Of BMN Will Still Be Implemented According To Provisions

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) revealed that the use of the State Property (BMN) office will continue to be carried out in accordance with the principles of propriety and efficiency.

Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati hopes that there will be an acceleration of the completion of the Organizational and Governance Structure (SOTK) for K/L who have undergone changes.

"It is hoped that new officials/implementors can be appointed immediately, especially officials who have the authority or authorization in the field of use of resources or resources within K/L," he explained in his statement, Thursday, October 24.

Sri Mulyani added that the use of the State Property (BMN) office will still be carried out in accordance with the principles of propriety and efficiency.

"If there is an addition or change in location from K/L, the Ministry of Finance will consider locations and places that can be optimized, especially for idle BMN," he said.

In addition, Sri Mulyani also underlined that the coordination meeting became very strategic because it would determine whether all thought, vision and mission and also the various new ideas that would be implemented could be carried out on time, on quality and of course still accountable, with budget resources, BMN, and existing financing.

According to Sri Mulyani, this coordination meeting was held as a form of quick movement for the alignment of K/L programs and activities, adjustment of DIPA for budget implementation, and restructuring of BMN status in order to adjust the new government policies, in accordance with the Red and White Cabinet.

"This marks an era of leadership from the new Republic of Indonesia under the elected President and Vice President," he explained.

Sri Mulyani said that with this change, of course, it is hoped that everything in the bureaucracy must prepare itself, because every elected President and Vice President must have a vision and mission as well as various thoughts that want to be translated and implemented through the government organs.

"In this case, the role of the bureaucracy is extraordinary," he said.
