JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) is currently completing the rehabilitation and renovation of the Maguwoharjo Stadium in Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY).
Director General of Human Settlements of the Ministry of PUPR Diana Kusumastuti said that currently the progress of the work has reached 79 percent and is targeted to be completed by December 15, 2024.

The scope of the renovation work of Maguwoharjo Stadium includes structural work, namely column strengthening using the jacketing method, architectural work, namely adding single seat seats, replacing field grass and making disabled stands. The plan, this stadium has a capacity of 20,595 seats.

Diana also requested that the renovation work of this stadium be accelerated while still paying attention to aspects of quality, aesthetics and environmental sustainability.
In addition, Diana advised the Sleman Regency Government to cooperate with the League for stadium management. "From the handover, please cooperate with the league or club for its management so as not to burden the regional budget," he said.
